Migraines

So last night as I was going to bed, I felt like a headache was coming on, but I figured sleep would relieve it. Well needless to say it didn't! I woke up a little after 4:30 this morning and it felt like someone had taken a hammer to my head. It was weird because I was dreaming that I had just fell off the top of a building and my head hit the side walk and then I woke up to my head pounding. So I get up to go take some medicine and I realize that I am on to a different kind of migraine medication. It is called Replax. It relieved my headache for a couple of hours, but then it came back and it also made me very sick to my stomach. So I know I can cross this one out! I only have one more trial medication I have to take before I can go back to the doctor. I don't remember having so many pills to try when I had awful migraines as a kid. My last kind is Maxalt. The stuff I took the time before last, worked but I swear it increased my sense of smell for a few days and left an awful taste in my mouth. and I hated that but that is better than throwing up all day. Anyone that truly knows me, knows that once I have thrown up, I am out for the day because it just doesn't stop. My headache is pretty much gone, but my stomach has yet to settle. I just hated it, because today was such a beautiful day outside, which doesn't do a person with a migraine much good.

I guess Shawn got the garage cleaned out today. He is in Atown for a guys night out. He wasn't going to go with me sick, but I told him to go ahead and go. Lacy and I were suppose to go to dinner tonight, but that obviously got cancelled. Depending on how I am feeling in the morning, she will be coming up for the day tomorrow.

Thursday night after Shawn gets off, we are hitting the road. First stop will be my parents to drop off the dogs, then on the road to Shawn's sister Nyki's house/ town. While we are there we get to see one of Shawn's uncles and his mom. Shawn and I are pretty excited about getting out of town for a while! I can't wait until we go to Fl, almost less than a month away!

I was going to post about Shawn's newest household type item but I was told that he would post about it. I thought maybe while I was sleeping and puking the day away that he had posted all about it but he hasn't. But I am sure he will. If he hasn't posted by Thursday, I will tell y'all. I think a few people know, but I don't think I have ever seen him get this so excited and hyped up over a gift.

Yea!! For the Colts winning the Superbowl! I got to see the last few minutes of the game, I didn't know if I would or not.

I have to go let the dogs out and then I am calling it a night.
