Sorry

I know it has been a while, but I have been really busy with school and work, since we have been back. I will try an update and tell you about our trip to Fl next week. I wanted to share a video and a little bit of information with you all.

Autism Speaks created a music video of the Five for Fighting song, "World", which features images of autistic children and their families. The band is generously donating $0.49 to Autism Speaks for each time the video is viewed and the winning charity will receive a special prize(there are several others on the site). Almost there!!!

We just have to survive the next two days and then we will be on our way! Our plan for today, is to get laundry done and start packing.

Last night, I went to bed, only to be woken up by the phone. I was thinking who in the world is calling at this time, that was until, I answered it and they asked for Shawn. Then I hear Shawn say, "Be there in a minute." Another transport...another suicide attempt. So Shawn gets up and then I get up to help him get ready. His boots needed to be shined, so I sat there half awake shinning his boots. Not even 10 minutes later he is out the door. I think he got home around 4 this morning.
I am so glad we are going away for over a week. No call outs for a whole week! I mean they are nice on a check, but it gets a little annoying sometimes, especially when they are so close together. Well the dryer just buzzed.

I am not sure when I will be posting again, but I will try to post again before we leave.

Nerve of some~

So this morning I went and tanned. While I was signing out, my neighbor (who was not there when I arrived) asks, "So did your husband get the dog poop cleaned up." I said ,"No, I don't think he is going to." Her, "Well I guess I will just call the Chief." Me, "The Chief?" Her, "Yep, he needs to know we have a bad cop working for the city." After that, I just couldn't stop myself from laughing. I think I was laughing because I was thinking, Wow, did she really just say that? Who knew one could become a "bad cop" simply because he refuses to pick up dog crap across the alley. Give me a break lady!!!! You won't be calling him a "bad cop" when you need him or the rest of them to be there for you! I didn't say another word,I just walked out laughing. So I am sure she is on the phone, calling the PD right now and then next door to tell the landlord. Their work schedules are on the board, so I think I am just going to plan my tanning times around that. For example, she works Tuesday afternoon so I will be sure and go and be done by noon.

By the way, I found my missing phone. I guess it never really was missing. We were slow at work last night, so I started cleaning out my purse. I found it zipped in an inside pocket of my purse. I had 11 missed calls, 13 texts, and one picture mail.

To anyone that has been calling me the past two days.... sorry. Once again I put my cellphone somewhere with it on silent. So until I stumble across it, please don't think I am ignoring your calls. If its not my cellphone its my keys.

This time next week we will be in FL!!!
