It's been one of those days...

When this becomes my favorite part of the day....

Go on vacation come back to rumorville!

Shawn and his Sgt walked in to a convenient store last night. The clerk and few customers gave them a confused look when they came in. When Shawn went to pay for his stuff at the register the lady said I heard you both got fired two weeks ago. Shawn says nope, we just went on vacation! WOW! His Sgt took a vacation day on the 16th, but he worked the week we were gone, and then when Shawn came back his Sgt was on vacation Monday and Tuesday.

Oh I have a blog? I forgot!

I have just been super busy with school stuff. Spring Break was awesome, besides being swamped and stressed over school work. I think that the stress is what was keeping the sinus headaches around. The headache kept moving from my right side to my left side. I don't remember if I mentioned it in my last post or not, but I left my camera at home. I had my mom's with me, but I didn't take a whole lot of pictures. You can read about the majority of our trip here and here. Sorry I am being lazy. Oh and in case we haven't said it enough, Thanks Randy and Twila for the wonderful trip and hotel stays. We stayed in an AWESOME hotel in San Antonio, it was definitely a treat and something I will not ever forget!

Only 5 weeks of school left. I felt so relieved yesterday after class. I turned in the project I had been stressing over in my 1:00 class and then I took the dreaded test in my 4:00 test that turned out not to be bad at all.

On a good note.... I have a school free weekend!!!! On a bad note....Shawn works all weekend! Tomorrow, I think the girls and I are going to go to the library. Hope you all have a fantastic Friday and wonderful weekend.

Oh ya, I am already booked with kids to watch during the summer. I even had to turn down a lady today on the phone. I loved getting the phone call and hearing what she had heard about me, but I hated having to turn her down. I can't wait for summer to arrive, I have already came up with a few ideas for activities to do. I will probably begin most of my planning in early May after I finish with finals.

Spring Break Trip Day One

For those of you that don't know, I woke up Wednesday with a nasty cold/sinus thing going on. I felt better today than I have the past couple of days. Anyway the drive down was fun. Twila and I watched a movie, played dominoes on pogo, and talked. Shawn dozed on and off through out the trip (he worked last night) and Randy drove and made us car sick!! lol j/k well kind of the roads made us a queasy. I had a good time other than having to blow my nose and the fact that I can't get my ears to pop. Every one is in bed but me, so I should head that way. I stayed up to work on a study guide for a test I have after spring break. So far I have 15 out of 200 questions done. I have no idea what is on the agenda for tomorrow! Happy Saint Patricks Day! Spring break is next week,but...

I am going to assign a couple of major projects for you to do that are due when you get back, while I go to Hawaii. I hate getting work assigned over spring break, especially by a teacher who just keeps talking about going to Hawaii. My spring break starts today after 2, when I get done working with my student. We are not leaving until Sunday and we will be be back the following Sunday (Easter).

Time for a new post...

I don't really have much to write about. School projects and tests are taking over my life again. Spring Break is only a week away! I am so excited! We are going to Austin/San Antonio for most of the week and then the to the Dallas area for the last of it. I was hoping I could sit back and relax this weekend especially after last weekend, but I don't think that is going to happen. I have a project to get done, along with a test to study for. I am planning on going to a birthday party on Saturday so that will be my break. As for Shawn, he has midterms this weekend for his online classes. Today he attended a training class for work and he will be doing that tomorrow as well. I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

Can't sleep...

My head is soo full of questions and thoughts right now. I keep getting up and then going back to bed thinking my body is ready to go to sleep, but then everything keeps flooding back. I feel lost... I don't know what to say or do.... I just hope that I am being a good friend in being there. I know that no one knows why...but I just can't seem to quit asking why. My emotions keep flipping back in forth sad...angry...hurt...frustrated...confused...sad it is just a whirlwind of emotion. I just keep praying to God for peace and to show and/or tell me what to do and say, not only for the next few days...but the next few weeks, months, and years after this.
