Guess What!!!!

Shawn and I found a house!!! I will give you more details and pictures later, probably not till after we move in. Finals are coming up and we are packing and moving....
it is 3bd 1 & 1/2 bath.

My first post and 6 weird things about me

1. I choose a career that most people would not have because of its danger
2. I only like 2 kinds of icecream: Vanilla and chocolate chip cookie dough
3. I don't like goodbyes
4. I hate greenbeans and won't eat anyones
5. I moved away from Florida to get married
6. I like really stupid movies (except Napoleon Dynamite)

I had fun with my water heater this weekend when it went out on us. Thank goodness for Jeff and his friends. We had to rerun a gas line to make the new one fit. I love my new job up in _____. I get to do really cool things. And have had some fun calls.

6 Weird things about me

So my MIL tagged me. Hmm real quick just let me say I am so thankful she is not like any of the MIL's on MILDEW!!

So the first weird thing about me would be: I like to sing at the top of my lungs when I am driving by myself. You should see the looks I get!

The second weird thing about me would be that I can eat cereal or ice cream anytime of the day!

Number three would be that I love chocolate Dr. Peppers, but I don't drink them too often!

Number 4: When I am angry with someone, it is easier for me to write my feelings out than say them outloud, sometimes when I am really angry, I start to speak words I don't really mean come flying out of my mouth!

5: Wednesday is my favorite day of the week, because it is telling me my week is almost over with!!

Wowzer!!!

Okay, so obviously my mind is else where lately. I just tried for about the last 10 minutes to long on to blogger. It kept saying something about my user id. I was getting really P.O. almost said forget it when I realized, Dummy, you are using your wtonline id. WOW! Maybe it is lack of sleep, stress, and just that my mind is on other things right now. Anyway..... something really cool that happened this week was that I found out Jenna was in my same eng. online class as me because she called me to ask a question. Really bizarre because I have been trying to figure out her married name to get a hold of her and Iris. So while talking to her I got Iris' number called Iris and then Iris came over. Well right after I got off the phone with her, some how Meghan and I tripped a breaker. I never reset the clock in the living room. She came over around 7:30 and I knew it was around 10 when Meghan went to bed and Iris and I were still talking. Well finally I was wondering what time it was and I went and looked at my cell phone and it was almost 3 in the morning. OOPS! Oh well it was well worth it. I hadn't seen her since my wedding, and I didn't get to visit with her that much then. Anyway, it turned out she took this class that I have to have the movie party for last semester. So she came over last night and watched the movie with me. By the way I changed it to Wedding in Galilee. It was a good movie for the most part, definately have a lot I can research for my paper now.
Shawn loves his job! So far we have not found anything else house wise. We have people looking and keeping us posted. It is just hard because Valero had just opened up more jobs at the plant when Shawn was hired. Shawn's schedule did change. See normally they work mon, tues, fri, sat, sun, and then the next week wed, thurs, and have fri, sat, and sun, off. Well the guy he is training with is leaving to go train police in Iraq so Shawn is going to get on the same schedule as the other guys that were hired so this week instead of having wed, thur, off he had to work mon, tue, wed, thur, but he will have a 3 day weekend again this week. Hopefully I didn't confuse you too bad. Only 3 weeks of school left in this semster! Soooo happy! Next Friday is my last day. Some of the kids are mad at me, but I was expecting that. Anyway, I hope all is well! Have a great rest of the week!

My car is Fixed!!!

I am soooo happy my car is fixed again!! For those of you that didnt know the alternator was broke I guess ?? And while Shawn and My brother were taking it out some part broke off. Well now everything is fixed. :) Anyway, I have pictures of Shawn in his uniform I just have been busy with school and everything else to post pictures. I will try tonight when I get home. Well I am working at Lee today. Which is fine with me! Anyways, nothing else really to report. Oh I am really excited for my sister. If you don't know what I am talking about go to her blog!

More house hunting....

So both houses we looked at are now rented out. Oh well, I just really loved that one house, probably for the best. I know that God will provide us with a home. Anyway on to BIG NEWS!!!! Shawn starts in _____, Monday Morning. I think he works Monday, Tuesday days, and then Wednesday, Thursday nights anyone up for staying with me. I know that I have to eventually get use to staying by myself, I am just not quite ready yet. :) So anyways I am super excited, I have been waiting for this day for what feels like forever, since last Wednesday. I am sure it has been worse for Shawn. Okay so I never got to my movie party last weekend, it was almost like my body went splat on me. I really hope I get a lot out of this movie. Anyways....... thats all I have to post for now!

Pictures from Shawn's graduation night. Yep... the cake was getting cut before I realized it. I do not have actual pictures from the graduation because my camera decided to go all crazy on me.  

The picture in the laundry basket was taken about 5 minutes ago. I have a pile of blankets/sheets that I need to wash. Minnie came along and pulled a sheet and blanket in to the basket then hopped inside and now is sleeping. The picture of her and Shawn was taken while we were driving to Shawn's cousin's house a couple of weekends ago. The pictures of her in the snow were taken the week after Shawn graduated. Minnie loves snow. The other two pictures were taken last week when Minnie decided she was going to climb in the shower with Shawn and then She didn't like it so she got out. I just happened to see the camera on the bookshelf. :) In one of the snow pictures you can see one of her wounds from the dog fight.
