Yesterday I was going to do the thursday thirteen thing and update, but blogger was acting up, and by the time it finally loaded I had 10 minutes before I had to leave for work. Anyway we are getting our first bedroom set today! I am so excited! We moved beds around lastnight we moved the twin bed that was in the 2nd bedroom to the back bedroom and then our bed to the 2nd bedroom. It actually turned out great in both rooms, I thought it would be way to crowded but it wasn't! We were up until 3 this morning doing that. Then we woke up about 9 and finished it. They are suppose to be here between 11:30 and 1:30 so we shall see. We told them before 3 since Shawn has to take a nap before he goes to work. School is going really fast, the next 3 weeks it is test after test pretty much. Oh I found a great find yesterday at a garage sale. There was an unopened queen comforter set and then the unopened sheet set, I could tell the brand was from walmart. The lady said she got it for her daughters room but her daughter hated it and she never went back to walmart. I got it for 25.00! Lastnight after I got off work Shawn met me at walmart because he needed a few things. So we went ahead a bought 2 new pillows and Shawn called me over to the other side of the bedding isle and that bedding was 54 (I think) for just the comforter set and then another 20 something for the sheets. I guess he really didn't believe me that I thought it was a great deal. At first I thought it was that he didn't like the bedding because it is a funky polkadoted pattern. But he said no he liked it, he thought I had just paid way to much for it at a garage sale. Anyway, we put that in on the bed in 2nd bedroom. I will post pictures as soon as our bedroom is put together and all of our clothes and stuff are out of the second bedroom. I should probably just take pictures of the whole house that way you can see the plate hanger in the kitchen and other stuff.
Minnie and Copper are doing great.
Well I have some homework that I was going to get to and then I remembered I hadn't updated this week.

Life just passing by....
This last week has gone by soooo fast! I can't believe it is already the weekend again.
Shawn and I finally celebrated our anniversary. He got us a suite at the Ambassador, it was Awesome!! They served us breakfast in bed, aww it was so wonderful! We stayed there Tuesday night, then on Wednesday I went and got my eyes checked and I now have classes to wear in class and if I think I need them to drive. She said I barely need them, but she thinks this will alleviate the headaches I get while taking notes off the boards and over heads in class. Thursday I just had a test in my class, so I didn't get to see if it worked or not, I guess we will see on Tuesday. Shawn switches to nights on Wednesday. Next week will be very interesting for him. Because he has to work all night Thursday gets off at 6 am Friday, but has to be at a class for work at 8am and go until 5 and then he is scheduled to work the football game Friday night at 7:30, and then today he got subpoenaed (sp?) to go to court on Thursday during the day after working all night on Wednesday. Surely that won't take all day. But I guess that means lots of over time. The following week he has another class for work that works the same way. Also in October or November he will be going to a week long class in Austin.
Oh yea, last Saturday Ashley Furniture was having this garage sale type thing. So Shawn and I went and met my mom and Meghan up there. That place was packed, but anyway, I found this black plate hanger thingy, well the other plate hangers were only marked down to like 15.99/19.99 and some other prices well the one I found didn't have any kind of sticker on it, so they told us to go stand in line. I love my husband, he stood in line for like an hour for me. Then after I looked around with Meghan and Mom, I went and joined him where we finally made it to the front and the lady didn't know what to charge and her boss really didn't know so he just looked at us and Shawn jokingly said how about 5.00's and the manager said okay. Anyway as soon as I get my chef plates on it I will take a picture. So here is the reason the line took forever...they had to enter everyone's information in the computer like they would for a big furniture sale so Shawn and I had to sign like 2 different form things and then they have to print off the copies all just for a plate hanger.
We have a new neighbor and she has a 4 month old part yellow lab mix female. Well yesterday she got in our yard and Minnie was just begging to go out and play, but the lady also has a male dog and right now we have to keep Minnie away from all males, so we went and checked and her male dog was still in the house so we let Minnie out and she was running around the yard with the puppy, then she was at the backdoor like she wanted in, so I let her in. She went and got her dog bone and wanted back outside. So we let her out, she took her bone over to the puppy and the puppy picked up and started running with it and Minnie would chase her. Then she would drop it and Minnie would pick it up and the puppy would chase her. It was really cute!! We misplaced the digital camera and by the time we found it they were done playing.
Well I need to go get ready for work!

Thursday Thirteen
Thirteen things that I have learned or watched happen since we have moved...
1. Sleep is precious.
2. It was a bigger adjustment than I thought it would be
3. It is one long drive from there to school
4. It has caused Shawn and I's marriage to grow.
5. Weight gain.
6. People will always talk even if they don't know you.
7. It is hard adjusting schedules to see everyone, but at the same time it is a two way thing...
8. I have become a stronger and more independent
9. I have learned once again what true friends are all about..
10. I am procrastinator at unpacking.We. we still have boxes to unpack....
11. I have learned more about needing, wanting, what's important, and what's not important
12. Living in a small town saves money on gas.
13. Change is not an easy thing, but I would exchange these changes for anything, because I know that God has us where he wants to be and I really don't see us living anywhere else for a while, unless God decides to change plans for us.

Wow 2 years!!!
I can't believe that on Monday, Shawn and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary! I was just thinking about where we were and how soo much has changed since then. I would have never thought a year ago that we would be living here. A year ago we had no idea what God had in store for us. I don't think it was even a definate at this time last year that Shawn was going to go to the academy. I remember trying with all my heart to trust God and whatever happened with Shawn going to the academy that everything would be alright, and you know what? It did, even though Shawn and I hardly saw each other we made it through that and I don't think we could have done that with out God's help! Here is a slide show that I made like a month ago. It has been on my myspace, but some of you have not seen it....

YUCK
When we got back from canyon this afternoon around 3:00 we discovered that our air conditioner is broken! So it is really really hot in this house. Which really sucks when you have a hard time sleeping anyways. I came home from working at pakasak and went to bed and I actually fell asleep before 1 and here it is after 3 and I am not wide awake, but I am awake enough that I can't go back to sleep. I tried reading for the last 3o minutes, but it is just soo hot! Hopefully the airconditioning people will be here in the morning! So far the first week of school has been great besides being tired. This morning or yesterday morning Shawn went with me and while I was in class, he was reading and doing some of his school work. It was nice to spend most of the day with him. I felt bad because I kind of dosed off and on the drive back today. But lastnight I didn't fall asleep until after 1 even though Shawn and I were in bed by 10:30. It was like I couldn't shut my mind off. Random stuff would just start popping up. I thought being in school would help, but I think it is just making me more and more tired even though I am loving my classes. I have even stopped watching tv in the bedroom because I have had a few friends tell me that is like a big no no or something and thats why I can't sleep. So I don't know? I don't think I have ever been this tired in my life.
Every summer I would go to church camp for a week. Pretty much the whole week except for probably one night we would stay up and it was pranks and raiding all night long back and forth and then we were up at 7 for morning devotion and breakfast. I could do that no problem. When my mom came and picked us up at the end of the week we would go home and crash the rest of the night in to Saturday afternoon. I feel like I have had a week like that over and over, with out the fun. Now, I just want someone to come and pick me up and take me home so I can sleep and sleep and sleep. I feel like I am going crazy or something, you would think me crying over not being able to sleep would help put myself to sleep but it doesn't help it just makes me even more tired. Anyway, I am going to go start reading chapter one for my EDSP class. I might as well do something productive.
Toodles~
Happy Friday
btw, it is time for all of my blogging people to update. It gets kind of boring reading the same thing over and over again.
