Awesome Children's Book!! I read some of the stories to Matthew and Makenzie out of this book, back when they lived here. By the way, did I tell you all that they are on the move again. I wish I could say back here or closer to here, but it looks like they are moving to Springfield Missouri. Lori said they are only about 30 min. to 45 minutes away from Branson. I guess there will be more to do when Shawn and I go to visit. :) She also told me they will be here for a week (I think) in August. I can't wait!! Anyway, back to the original reason for this posting ..... I was trying to remember the name of the book a few days ago, so I could buy it and guess what? I found it! Hip Hip Hooray!!!
Book Description
This book of stories will entertain and teach, through the eyes of the animals onboard, lessons of obedience, forgiveness, helping, and more.
From the Back Cover
The story of Noah will never be quite the same after these tales are told! Experience this favorite Bible story from a different perspective-the animals. In Tales from the Ark, for the first time ever, the animals share their stories. As you follow their adventures, you'll meet a very strong Skunk, a Ferret who gets lost, Turtle Doves who have a dark, scary secret, and other interesting characters.
Summer Days and Busy Days
So it has been really hot the last couple of days, but we still have not topped out in to the 100's yet. I think today starts our 3 and 4 degree temperature drop, that was called a cold front. I don't know why but that makes me laugh thinking that 94 and 95 degrees is the effect of a cold front. So anyways on to other things than weather. My friend Autumn had her baby on June 28th at 5:21 pm. She ended up having a C-section. Reagan Nicole was 7 lbs 6 oz and 21 inches long and she is sooooo cute. Yesterday, I took the boys and we went to go visit Autumn. At first the boys were playing with this car on the floor, while I was holding her, the next thing I know Josh is throwing this huge fit and just has to be in my lap. He even bit my leg. And as soon as I put Reagan back in to her crib, he stopped crying. But he would not leave my lap our let me put him back down until it was time to go again. Lets see... what else? Oh last weekend I was not bored when Shawn went to the movies, we ended up helping out at the firework stand that Shawn's Aunt is running this year, in order to help raise money for the junior class. We ended up staying Friday and Saturday night out there with Justin, Alisha, and the boys. I think we are staying out there again tomorrow night, to relieve Zane and Steve from sleeping another night in the travel trailer. My brother arrived back in town I guess early yesterday morning. I talked to him on the phone a little bit last night and he seems to be doing okay. Josh is sitting in my lap and saying "More please", "More please", everytime I stop typing. LOL He stayed the night with me last night, since lil justin wanted to spend the night at the trailer, which was really nice because I was able to sleep in. Well that is about all that is going on. Hope you all are staying cool and enjoying summer. And Happy Forth of July, just in case I do not get a posting in before then. I decided the reason I haven't been posting pretty regularly is that it is summer out and who wants to be inside when you can be out side. :) Or when you do get inside, you really don't feel like getting on the computer, okay well at least I don't.

So I guess it would be time for another update...
I don't know why I have gotten so lazy on updating my blog. Maybe it is not lazyness it is just lack of stuff to update or I am just to busy to update. Well right now, the boys are a sleep so it is a great time to update. We went to Shawn's sister's house last weekend. It was a blast you can read all about it on Twila and Randy's blog (this is where the lazy part comes in :). This week Shawn has been really busy with work and stuff. Their work load picks up a lot in the summer. It is actually 2better than I thought it would be. I think tonight he is going to go see batman begins or ends whatever the name of the movie is and StarWars at the drive in. I think he is actually going to go by himself. I have no interest in seeing either movie. I think I would personally drive him nuts during Star Wars. I would have no idea what was going on. No since in spending $7.00 just to be confused and ruin the movie for Shawn. I think I am just going to have a date with the washer and dryer tonight and finish up laundry. If Shawn doesn't have to work we are going to go to Altus Lake, next weekend with my parents. I am praying that he doesn't have to work. I really want him to go since he has never been before. This weekend he is the back up person on call. Well thats all I really have to say for now. I am going to try and give a better update, maybe later tonight, or tomorrow some time.

interesting night
So there, really hasn't been much going on or at least it doesn't seem like it. I keep meaning to get the camera back from Meghan so I can upload pictures. So anyways lastnight we had all kinds of tornatic thunderstorms all around us. Shawn and I went and hung out at my parents house for a while. We mostly went outside to watch all of the wall clouds that were around us. Shawn and My dad were standing on the roof. Men! lol It didn't start raining at my parents house until after everything had calmed down. I am not sure what it did at our house, it just looks like rain, and no hail. I am just glad that we do not live out by the mall. Even last summer, when the big hail storm came through at my parents house we pretty much just got rain and maybe a few pieces of hail, but nothing else. I like watching the crazy weather from a distance, I am not sure about being in it especially when it involves tornadoes. Now if it is just a big thunderstorm that doesn't bother me. So I don't really have much else to say. This Friday morning we are leaving to go to Shawn's sister's house for Rylee's 1st birthday party. I am excited to be getting out of town for a weekend. I think we will be back in town some time Sunday evening. Welp that is about it, lol

So I guess it is time for an update
The last couple of weeks have been pretty busy. The last weekend of May was Ryan's graduation so we had a lot of family in town. It was nice to see them all. Then this last weekend, on Saturday we went to Shawn's family reunion thing and it was pretty fun. Yesterday morning, Ryan left for Denver, CO, where he will be working for the summer and yesterday afternoon Meghan arrived home from New York. She seemed to have a blast and she will later update her blog with pictures. Well I am exhausted, the boys kept me very busy today. I think tomorrow morning we are going to go to the zoo. Most of our zoo is underconstruction though, but both Josh and lil Justin can stare at the monkey's for hours. They also like the bears. Well thats all for now. I will try to get some of my brother's graduation pictures posted as soon as I get the camera back from Meghan.
