hmmm life is......

crazy!!! lol, I have always known that but it just made it seem more real with recent events and conversations that have been going on in my life. Okay maybe it isn't "life" that is crazy, but the people that surround me in life. Okay enough of my rambling thoughts for today!
So I kind of have some cool news. I was offered a GSM (guest service managment) position yesterday. And I am going to take it. My hours will stay the same but my pay will go up! I am starting my training tonight, but they can't move me to that position until the end of july beginning of August when the other one leaves. But it is something new for me to learn.

So Miss Employee of the month is really really mad about it, but I really don't care. I work with her on Sunday for like 2 hrs. It should be interesting. I guess what is funny, is I never say anything to anyone at work about her because I dont know her and i have only worked with her twice and even then I didn't even speak to her the second time, but Miss employee thinks she knows so much about my life and my husband. Unless he has pulled her over, he has never met her before. I guess in Amarillo, I was a rich spoiled brat? Hmmm if thats the case, then why do I have this thing called "debt". Have my parents always been rich with money and just never told me about it. How dare they!! But I guess I shouldn't call her miss employee of the month, since the manager decided against doing that. Maybe on Sunday I should ask her so please tell me how much money my parents gave me when I graduated, and oh yea, exactly how big is their house in Amarillo and where is it located? Because I don't think I have ever been to that one.


But in reality I will probably only say hi, how are you today. Because that is just how I am!

So I am bummed about next week I have to close on the 4th. I think Shawn is going to try to pick up a shift at the stadium helping them patrol. I am just glad that he wasn't the one that just got switched over to nights. So far he is loving patrolling on his own. We met at Subway for lunch today, because I got some coupons from them. You should go sign up on their site they like to send out occasional free sandwhiches and stuff. Anyway, back to what I was saying I felt like everyone was starring at our table. I have been in public with him a few times in uniform but never out to eat. Then of course people have to come up and ask their questions about their tags, or what their neighbor is doing. I think next time I will just go pick it up and bring it home.

Today, is Shawn's first day cruising the streets of this town by himself! Yep that's right he is now on his own. Okay this may be stupid but has anyone been keeping up with the view lately? The past two days have been crazy. No more Star on the show. Ha Doesn't hurt my feelings any. I really didn't like her. Most people I know hate that show, but I like it.

Funny Story!

So Tuesday night/ Wednesday morning around 2 am Hastings got broken into. The two young men were only in there for 38 seconds or something like that. They ran straight for the two xbox 360s that were not in the case. Hey, what do you know those were our display boxes!! ha ha ha! By the time they got back to the broken glass door they realized it. Dropped the boxes and left, leaving their finger prints behind and besides that its all on camera. Idiots!!!

oh WOW

So I worked this afternoon from 1 to 6. Around 2:30 these two cowboy men come walking in beer bottles. One guy had three in his hand and the other one had his opened and was drinking it. So I go and tell/ask my manager. And he says as long as they are not being disruptive then he isn't going to do anything. Okay whatever..... I actually completely forgot that they were even there because we got busy. Then when I was putting renters back on the wall I heard and seen them in the music section. Which was right before 5. So as I walk by them they ask me to throw away their bottles for them. My hands are still full of dvds so I just point them over to a trash can. Anyway while I am counting down my drawer and getting ready to go home they come up and ask for a cart. So I go to the back and get them a cart which consists of 3 shelves per side. They bring that thing full of cd's all 6 shelves. And they even have some stacked on top and the other guy is carrying some. So anyway when I left she had already rang up 38 cds and the price was already over 200.00 so I can only imagine the bill, granted that most of the cd prices ranged from 10 to .99 since the majority were used. They said something about going on a road trip around the whole U.S. so I guess you would have to lots of music to listen too. Their motorhome was really really nice. I just thought it was crazy.

Oh ya, guess what Shawn gets to do tomorrow on his day off? Play dog catcher. I guess the one animal control person they have will be gone to training tomorrow. Shawn said that he has to mainly clean the shelter unless a call comes in. I am happy for the over time but I just think it is kind of funny.

I am no longer 14 on myspace and I no longer have a private profile, meaning that you can view my myspace page. As far as the hype on the news about myspace and how it is sooooooooo bad and yada yada yada all I have to say is, Parents watch what your kids are doing, talk to them,take some computer classes if ya have to. There are pervs every where today. Anyway I personally like it because I have been able to get in contact with people from highschool, camp, youth gatherings, and yadada.

Kind of Cool

So I heard about this website at the blogger forum called Tornadostream and you are suppose to be able to create your own radio station like thing for your blog. Well lets just say I was really really dissapointed when I got registered and into the site. I started searching some of my favorite artists and it was turning up nothing. Well everytime the searches turned up empty there was a message that said something about emailing them. So I was thinking it is worth a try. So the following is the first email I sent them.

Have you thought about adding Christian artists to your site? I am

So anyway thats kind of cool right????? This was a two day deal and now it looks like I have them working on something. Anyway I thought I would share that with yall!

Oh Lastnight, Shawn and I seen Cars and The Wild at the drive in. Cars was cute............The Wild, I wouldn't waste your money on it. Except to rent it I mean. Well I fell asleep in the middle of it. Not because it was super super boring, I was exhausted from the day before still. It was like a lion king and madagascar movie. Anymore I always fall alseep during the second movie. Shawn and Meghan said it was just a kind of cute movie but it really wasn't that original that it makes it stand out. So anyway, we got home around between 2:30-3:00 this morning. I am glad Meghan came back because I fell back asleep even though I tried not to. So Meghan stayed up and talked to Shawn.

crappy day/update

I was looking forward to my day off. But around 9:00 lastnight, my back started hurting really really bad and not in just one spot all over. By the time I got home last night around midnight, I could barely walk because I just had pain through out my body. I took some of Shawn's back medicine and I was able to find a comfortable position to go to sleep. Today, I am still in a lot of pain and I have no idea why except now it is joined with an awful head ache. I thought maybe a hot bath would help but I have taken two of those so far today and nothing seems to help not even pain medicine. I don't understand it.... I went swimming yesterday and the day before. When Shawn came home for lunch I tried to get up and talk to him but it just wasn't happening. I couldn't stand being in my bed any more today, so now I am laying on the couch with the laptop. I just want the pain to go away. I feel stupid because all I want right now is my mom and dad and shawn. I know they can't make the pain go away but they can always bring some type of comfort to me when I am in pain. I just wish I knew what I did that caused all of this pain out of nowhere.
update
3 1/2 to 4hrs later after my 4th or 5th nap of the day I am starting feel better. My back doesn't really hurt anymore just when I start to stand up, now it is more the back of my legs and my arms from the shoulders to the elbows. My neck isn't even as stiff as it was. Maybe that back medicine was working after all. That or I just finally relaxed enough to let it. Shawn and I were talking and he thinks I may have done something going down the waterslides yesterday. I dont know, I just want all of the pain to go away. Anyway I just changed my myspace song to: Take My Hand by Shawn McDonald. I love love this song. I wish I could find a way to put it on here. Its Wednesday!!!

In my last post I noticed that I completely forgot to mention that on Saturday, I got to see Makenzie, Matthew, Miles, and Lori. They sat with mom, meghan, ashley, casey, and I. It kind bites that we only got to spend a couple of hours together. They were only here for the weekend, but almost 2 hours was better than not seeing them at all. I can't believe how big they are getting. Anyway, today Alisha, Justin, the boys, and maybe her parents are coming today to take the boys to Treasure Island. It should be lots of fun. I just have to make sure I am back here by 3:30 so I can get ready for work. Maybe I can get take some pictures and post them or something. Yesterday, Shawn and I went to the pool here for about an hour. It is a huge pool and it gets pretty deep. It was kind of funny because I seen Makenzie's younger cousin Hope there with her day care. She came up to me and said What are you doing here? I told her I lived in _____ now and she ask me if Makenzie knew. I told her yes. Then she told me she seen me sitting with them at the parade. Hope was in the parade on one of the girl scout floats. Anyway it was too cute. I am glad that after tonight I get two days off. Last night, we were super busy and then all of the sudden 8:30 came and it got dead fast. Which made the time go slow, but we were out of there by 11:15.

It's Monday......................

But so far it is a good Monday. Shawn went this morning and got registered for fall classes at AC. He is taking 4 online classes. After this semester he will only lack 24 hrs until he has his intermediate peace officers. Once he has that he will get a pay increase. Then his plan is to go on to WTAMU. Anyway some of you are probably thinking I thought he was done with school? I was taken back by surprise when I was filling out my fasfa for this year and Shawn said don't forget to do mine. I think it is awesome!! I don't have much planned for this week. I ended up working lastnight. It went by really fast. It was the first time I worked with the sm. I work tonight, tomorrow, and wednesday. I close every night. But I decided I like closing better than working in the middle of the day. I think sometime this week Alisha, Justin, and the boys are suppose to be coming up for the afternoon. Since Saturday around 2ish is when I had my last dr. pepper / any type of carbonation for a while. How far can I go? Hmmmm maybe until the first of the year? Right now my baby goal is a month! We shall see!!!!

"F" is my letter

1. Forever: I plan on being married to my awesome husband until one of us dies, in other words forever, which is the way it should be when you get married.
   

2. Friend: I think I am an awesome friend to several people. I think that everyone needs a few great friends if not more than a few. By the way: HAPPY BIRTHDAY LACY!!! Love you lots!! I am blessed to have several great friends in my life. I am just missing them like crazing because they are in A-town. I also hope to make great friends here. Seeing how we will most likely be spending the rest of our lives here.

3. Future Teacher: What I want to be when I grow up, LOL! What I hope to become with in the next 2 years. I want to make a difference in young lives. Teaching has always been the job or career of my choice. I think I will make an awesome one too once I get there.

4. Future stay at home mom: I want and will stay at home and raise my kiddos until they get off to school full time. It’s something I have always believed in and it is something I will do, even if I have to sell Avon or one of those type things to do it. Note: I will not sell my body! just in case you were worried about that happening.
   

5. Family: I love my family and I don’t know what I would do with out them. Shawn and I plan on having two kids and then stopping well only if it is a girl and a boy. If it turns out that we have 2 girls we will go again and try to have that boy and carry on the family name. I am sure you have noticed the order I have it in, don’t even say it because even though it is a possibility to have it the other way around I am praying that God gives me this one or two however you see it. So ya, don’t even want to hear that it isn’t my choice of what I have first. Besides I am hoping he treats me like he did my mom she wanted a girl first and that’s what she got! In fact she was blessed with me!!!

6. Forgiving: I am a very forgiving person. I have been told I am too forgiving. Which I really don’t think there is such a thing as too forgiving especially when it is our job to constantly forgive. I just think there is a thing called too trusting, which I am that too. It just seems though that I can forgive you once, twice, not really a problem, by the third time, you are sooo earning back my trust, 4^th it will take twice as long as it did last time, 5^th you’re not really a friend are you but I will still forgive you. And so on and so forth. Forgiveness is an important part of life, if you don’t forgive how will you ever truly move on with your life.

7. Freaken: A word I still get in trouble for saying around my mom. I only use it when I am really really mad. I think most of the time anymore it is when I am in the car, like yesterday on my way home from work this guy started coming over into my lane and I called him a freaken idiot. But really I am trying to work on it.

8. Fruit: I love fruit, my favorite fruit is strawberries. YUM YUM, not a big fan of pears. Plums they are delicious. However, I am not that great of a picker outer of plums. Just ask Shawn….. but he isn’t the best either. I think the best picker outer of plums would have to be my mom. I don’t think I have ever had a bad plum while I lived there. Anyway, I love frozen grapes and cherries in the summer. Strawberries and homemade vanilla ice cream actually sound yummy.

9. Fresh sheets: I love sleeping on fresh clean sheets. I always seem to fall asleep faster and have better dreams while sleeping on freshly cleaned sheets.

10. Fat: I think most women every shape and size just feels really fat at some point in their life if not more than once. Last month, I felt really fat. This month it is so so, next week or starting Sunday I am going back to no cokes, maybe one on Sat and drinking lots of water. Shawn and I have not gone to the Y for about a week and a ½ now and I am ready to go back. I would like to be down a size by September.

so um ya.....

Is anyone else having problems with blogger the past two days like not being able to log in and make comments and stuff! REALLY FRUSTRATING PEOPLE! LOL anyway so work is getting so much better but tomorrow I am working with 2 different A.M.s I haven't worked with either of them yet. My first day at work the A.M. I was working with was soo busy I hardly saw her, but I couldn't stand the other girl that was scheduled with us. Miss wanna be employee of the month, no really, she really said that too me and she has only been there for about a month!! I guess she is just making those small goals in life and striving to reach them early on. I work from 2-6 tomorrow. Then I am off until Monday! I have to say even though I have been working nights it has been nice to get out and go to work and see and talk to people. It gets a little wired trying to talk to people at the Y unless you are out in the hall or something.

I will actually get to see my sis and mom because they are going to the doggie day parade with me Sat morning. I feel like I haven't seen or talked to my mom in forever!!! She calls and I miss her calls. Shawn is working traffic, I will get to see my man in uniform actually working not eating or walking out the door. Oh something very nice was that I came home tonight and the kitchen was clean like floors swept and mopped along with the bathrooms and he did laundry in the middle of the week so we have no laundry to do right now!!! How awesome is that!!! Anyway how odd is it that it is 1:29 am and I am wide awake........ I think it was because I had a great day at work and besides Shawn and I just kind of lounged around until I had to get ready for work.

p.s. call me crazy but I hate straightening, fixing, renting, or putting away horror movies. The images on the covers make me shiver and have nightmares. Like yesterday I see this cover with a bunch of baby doll heads and their eyes UGH anyway I woke up because of a stupid dream. Then tonight this guy and his wife rent this horror flick and he is standing their telling me that he loves horror movies and then says the only movie that has scared him is the exorcist and he didn't watch another horror movie for a couple of months. All I said was wow, ya I don't think that movie is for me and what's he do? He starts describing and telling me about the scenes in the stupid scary movie! Like I want to know!!! HELLO!!! The haunted mansion was kind of scary too me! I remember my parents renting final destination while lacy was staying over one night, I really didn't want to watch it...I ended up watching it and now I like the final destination movies except this last one was STUPID!!! But that is about as scary as it gets for me. The exorcist of Emily rose really didn't scare me I guess because I thought of it as more of documentary type thing. Anyway I really gotta get to bed!!!

So lastnight went better than my first day. We were so busy, which made the time fly by fast! We didnt get out of there until 12. Anyways I work again today and tomorrow but I am off Friday Saturday and Sunday!!! I am hoping to hear from the library soon!

what's new with me.....

I am trying to find another job as soon as possible. I went and applied at the library, walmart, and the dollar store. Tonight is my second time to work and I hope and pray that it goes better than the first day. Most of the time you feel a little over whelmed at on your first day, it was totally opposite this time, it was boring and I did not really start learning anything. Anyway, I am trying to have a postive attitude about things. I will not quit until I get another better paying job. I am hoping that I grow to like it and possibly work two part time jobs for the rest of the summer. I work 5:30 to 11:30 tonight.

So last night or early this morning, around 1:30 am there was a pounding on our door. Minnie barks which is what wakes me up. I wake Shawn up and tell him someone is at the door and what's he do? Rolls over and starts snooring!!! So Minnie and I get up and come out into the living room and there loud knocking again, Minnie barks. I go back into the bedroom and tell Shawn they are not leaving this time he sits up and then lays back down. UGH! Finally the knocking quits after a few minutes, so I went and looked out the blinds and there were two men walking down the street. It freaked me out!!!! Part of me was glad that Shawn is not working nights right now, the other part of me thinks that I could have called him and he would have actually done something!!! :) I felt soo protected! Anyway, I am still kind of freaked out about it. The people that lived here previously owes money to sun loans and they keep coming during the day asking for money and everytime we have to explain that we don't know where this person is and for them just to call the landlord. Surely they wouldn't show up in the middle of the night! But I wonder if they the previous renters owed anyone else money. A very very very small part of me thinks it was someone Shawn has arrested or ticketed. I would think if they were mad at him they would have done something to the house or to one of our vehicles. By the way, when Shawn was leaving for work this morning he came in to tell me goodbye, I asked him about it and he doesn't remember anything but hearing Minnie barking.
