Two Hundred and tenth post

Wow, I can't believe this is my 210th post. Crazy-azy, I changed my template around. I know the background is really bright but it just reminds me of summer. After not really having a winter, I am ready to get past spring and on to Summer. I am tired of upper 70's and lower 80's and the 30's the next day. Which I guess that can happen in the summer to. Anyway, I probably will not keep this background up for very long. I thought I liked the squares until this morning.
Thanks for the help on the resignation letter. I should put a count down clock on here :) not really, I really do love my job, it is just my boss that makes it UGH. But now she is being super nice to me, I really don't even care if she is super nice or in a good mood all of the time. It is just that I do not think it is very professional of someone to point out over and over again the negative qualities in someone or call us out in front of the kids. Anyway, not much longer of putting up with that.
Does anyone know what to do about a dog shedding? Minnie is loosing her winter coat and it is getting every where. All I keep hearing is brush her and brush her, so Shawn and I have been taking her outside and brushing her for 30 min to an hour and it helps a little bit but not much. On Wednesday Shawn brushed her for an hour if not more and then he went to work, well I came home and decided I would go and see him and Minnie came along. Well when we got back home, my back seat was just full of her hair in clumps. YUCK! Sorry it just grosses me out. Anyway, I don't know what to do........

more fires

There are fires popping up all over the place again. Shawn and I were on our way to my parent's house this morning and there was one real close, luckily for them the wind is blowing the other way. I think 3 or 4 more have started since then. I just hope one does not start out by Soncy or Amarillo is in trouble with the way the wind is blowing today. Pure Craziness out there. Anyway I have decided that my last day will be April 28th. I am having a movie party at my house on Saturday I think. Tomorrow there is another girl's sleep over here at work. I really do not want to stay the whole night. I will probably go home around 1 or 2, because I have way to much school work to do. Anyway, does anyone know the simplest way to write a resignation letter. For AIG I just had to put down that such and such day is my last day and sign it. Nope not here you have to have a letter. Well there is not much else to update on. Shawn and I went and looked at houses on Monday in _____, with his grandparents. We found one that we really like. The other one we can live with. It was a fun day. Tiring but fun. Anyway, not much else to say.... EXCEPT TOMORROW IS FRIDAY!!!!!!

I have the I don't want tooos

So this week has flown by really fast, and some how everything I have planned for next week in one of my online classes is this week. Well really it is like that for the rest of the semester. I have a test I have to take by tomorrow night by midnight, that I really have not prepared all that much for. Luckily, there is not that much reading, so tomorrow morning I will be reading and studying. The good news is that Shawn pretty much has a job in _____, we just have to wait until his TCLEOS verfication comes back. He was given an informal offer. The formal offer will come when that Which will take 3 to 10 days. Monday morning, we are going to go look at 2 rent houses that we found available in _____. Funny moment of the week:
Thursday night Meghan and I went to Rosa's Cafe and she ordered nachos and I ordered Combination Nachos. So this girl calls our number and I go up to get our food. I see on the tray a plate of chips in a circular shape and then a plate of chips with beans and all of the other stuff that makes it combination well except one thing. So this girl looks at me very seriously and asks me, "Do you want Cheese?" I said what? Then she got kind of louder and kind of rude and she asked again, "Do you want cheese?" I said, " well ya" (I am sure the look on my Then she says okay I will bring your order out. I was like um... okay. So by the time I get back to the table she is behind me with our order of nachos. So the rest of the night and for the most part of this weekend we keep making up these stupid little comments like Do you want chocolate in your hot chocolate? Or did you want Ice in your Ice tea. I mean seriously if we didn't want cheese don't you think we would have ordered a plate of chips? Another good thing this week is that Shawn and I have a new nephew. His picture can be seen on Twila & Randy's blog.

Fun Rainy Weekend

Not much to report on for this weekend. The fun part was taking a road trip with Meghan, Dad, and my Grandma Gloria to Wichita. It rained most of the way, but it was still fun. On the way there, I slept until around 8:30 ( we left at 6 and I didn't get to bed until after midnight) after I finally woke up, I went through my wedding album with my grandma. That kept us busy for a while, then Meghan and I watched the Bride and prejudice. That is starting to become one of my favorite movies. This time I put on the subtitles and it translated the songs into English. It gave me even more to think and write about when we do our responses to others. When we made it to Wichita, I was able to catch up with my cousin Stacy, while we ate lunch at Bennigan's. I haven't seen her since I was in Iowa for the summer. It was pretty awesome. I found out she is getting married in May, in Jamaica. That has to be pretty exciting. On the way home we were going to stop at the Oklahoma City Zoo but it was 4:30 and it closed at 5:00 and it was raining. I was kind of bummed, but not to bad. I had fun just spending time with my dad and Meghan. It would have been cool, if mom could have came along , but there is thing called work, that she just had to go to!!!
I have loved every bit of the rain this weekend. We have needed it sooo bad. It was kind of sad driving out of Amarillo. Houses that you are use to seeing were no longer there and it was crazy to see how the fires skipped around. There was some land where it was all black except up close by the house and part of side of land where they had some cattle. It was like God just put his hand over them. It was crazy, because it was black in the front, back, and on both sides. I think we are thankful that the wind wasn't blowing the other way otherwise it could have been our homes. Just remember to keep those in your prayers that were effected by the fires.

Well I off to try to finish my new book. It is called the Witness. It is by Dee Henderson! She is the one that wrote the O'Malley Family Series, and The Uncommon Hero's series. If you like csi and shows like that then you are bound to like these books. Shawn is rereading the first three books in the O'Malley Series. We have a book that is the first three in one. He is on book three. LoL.....well I am really going to go now!

Back to work....

So yesterday, I had the day scheduled off, or so I thought. Well in my boss' eyes I did not. So I kind of figured after they called all day yesterday for me, that she would be upset when I came in this morning. Surprisingly, she just called me into her office, and tried to tell me it was irresponsible not to come in we talked for about 5 minutes, but she wasn't as mad as I thought she would be. After that, she was nice to me, but a complete witch to other staff. That was just crazy-azy. Maybe it helped that I went and was cleaning staff office. I think I only have to work for 2 hrs on Thursday or Friday. I need to think of something for my bulletin board. I am thinking a spring one. That way I can leave it up.
Shawn has an interview in Dalhart on Tuesday. Speaking of graduation, it went great. Oh Thursday night, Minnie was attacked by the same dogs that attacked red. She is doing fine now. The only thing we are worried about right now is her blood not clotting. Shawn took her in this morning and they said she is suppose to have 250-500 platelets and she only had 72. So they changed her medicine. So please keep her in your prayers.
This last weekend was pretty busy and hectic. I think I am just overwhelmed with people and just ready to stay at home with just Shawn and I again. I have had soo much fun playing with AC, Trace, and Rylee when she lets me :) . Trace and I took a nap together Sunday afternoon. It was nice. Twila is making enchilladas for dinner tonight. Part of me just wants to go home and crawl in bed. But, who knows the next time, I will see them. I am just sooo exhausted. I didn't sleep very good lastnight or really anynight since Thursday night. Last night was just worse then any other. It was like one bad dream after another. Finally at 7:30 this morning I just said forget it, turned on the tv and caught up on my shows that I have missed since Thursday night.
I dont have much else to write about. I have to have a movie party in a week for my online class. I will probably do it this next Friday if I can find a movie. I also have to watch Bride & Prejudice this week. I have to find it though.

Trying new things....

So I dyed my hair blonde on Monday, I am getting use to it. This will probably sound wierd but I love the sides I just am having a hard time getting use to the top. I have gotten several compliments on it. One compliment I got I didn't know what to think of at first. This guy Jermey I work with said, "NaTasha I really like your hair. It makes you look even more like a valley girl. "I kind of looked at him like what? He goes you have a very valley girl personality. Then he was like a nice valley girl personality, not a stuck up one. I laughed and was like okay thanks I guess, never heard that before.
I finished my essay for my midterm while watching nap today. I was shocked, I thought I would only get half of it done and then do the rest tonight, but once I started typing everything started flowing in my brain!
Shawn has his interview with _____ PD at 2:30 tomorrow!! I am soooooo excited, he also has his test, I guess the time is 9:30 instead of 8. He has to be at work at 6 so I am not going to see him until he gets off. I am so glad tomorrow is Thursday!! I ordered Shawn's cake yesterday! It is going to look sooooooo great! The lady eneded up talking me in to a half white, half chocolate! I was going to be mean and just do a chocolate cake. Since Shawn is working, I am going to mom's house tonight to ride bikes with Meghan, maybe mom will come since we will have an extra bike. It just depends on when she gets home from curves! So besides taking the other part of my mid term which is only 20 questions, I really have nothing else planned. Maybe to play with Minnie. It is soooo funny, she will run to me more than Shawn sometimes!! I didn't ever think I would love her like I do. It is just crazy, I never was a dog person before Rocky. Minnie and I just battled to much, but now that she has been staying in the house, she cracks me up. Then there is Tika ( I hope that is how you spell it) who is Ryan's dog. She is the nicest pit you will ever meet and you can't help but love on her. Rocky scares her!

Soooo.........I know I shouldn't do this.......but I just can't help it.......

I WON!!!!! I WON!!!! I WON!!!!! You are probably wondering what I have won, well now it is two things!!! I won the battle with my boss! That is the first thing I am referring to! And I even said so I guess this means I won. :) And then tonight on the way home from my parents Shawn and I stopped by TootnTotum and I bought a $3.00 cashword lottery ticket and I thought I was doing good when I won $20.00 then it went to $100.00 and then $500.00 and I was like ummmm Shawn will you look at this ( I was trying not to get my hopes up) so he turned around and we went back to TNT and sure enough I won $500.00. How awesome is that! I was like yeppers this is going to be a great week! I don't have too much school work to do, I only have to work with my boss for 2 hrs on Tuesday and then she is gone for the rest of the week, Thursday I have training which is kind of cool, but kind of bites because I have it from 9 -2:30 and then 7 - 9, but there might be a chance that I can miss the night training, and then Of COURSE on Friday, Shawn GRADUATES, I am off, and he told me we were spending the day together, sounds great to me!!!!! Oh, another cool thing, IT RAINED and we had thunderstorms on Saturday night! That was awesome!!! Shawn and I have been riding our bikes every chance we get. Last week we were getting up early and we rode about 2 1/2 miles each morning. Yesterday and Today we went riding around my parents neighborhood. I also went walking around MediPark with Meghan and her friend Amanda. We walked 2 miles. I am loving the weather. It was kind of sad looking at MediPark, because the water was down. There were parts where you could walk across to the other side. There were lots of people out there today. I cant think of much else that I did this weekend, oh I went to the mall all day with Mom, Meghan, and Amanda and then after Shawn's test in _____ he joined us. Oh ya, his test, how can I forget? He thinks he did great. They will be interviewing this next week. Shawn's test is Thursday morning at 8:00, so be sure too keep him in your prayers! Well thats all!

What do you dislike?

I seen this as a posting on someone else's blog.
What I dislike very much is fake people or people who put on a front and when there is a problem, they just want to sweep everything under a rug and act like everything is A OKAY when it really isn't. Nothing will ever get solved that way! Well I am not like that, I think if you have a problem with people, you should try to solve it! The way I see it is if you do not communicate honestly with one another in a relationship, it isn't going to work! It doesn't matter what kind of relationship: A marriage, friendship, God, and even with yourself! I guess I just don't see how people can live like that. Also, I think if you do live a life where you do not communicate your feelings with one another it will catch up with you and turn in to a big disaster. At least if you talk about things, both parties can hopefully walk away from the situation with a peace or just willing to let it go and forgive, instead of creating a bigger pile of dust and dirt under the rug.

And Shawn only has 8 more days! He has been reviewing this whole week at school for the final and the TCLEOSE test. He has all day tomorrow to study for the final, which is on Friday. I think they do scenerios again on Thursday. Then next week they are just reviewing for the TCLEOSE test. Hmmm....this week so far at work has been very interesting. Lets just say that whole Shawn graduation time at 6:00 did not go over very well yesterday. So possibly my last day working there will be next Thursday. Hmmm.... we shall see I guess. Shawn has a physical and written test in _____ at 9:00 on Saturday. So keep him in your prayers please :) ! It was kind of weird because I got to work and I guess the Sgt. had called for me at work and left a message.... well they assumed I was in some kind of trouble with DPD. Yeah right...so anyway, I call him back and all he did was ask me questions and said he was very interested in my husband and was going to start the background check on him. He also said that Shawn had excellent references. So anyway, that is great news!!! Well I have to get back to work!!
