Spring break 2007!! Better late then never!

I would love to have lots of pictures for this post but sadly I do not. For some reason only a 102 of the 281 pic we took are uploading from the camera to the computer. I have tried everything I could think of to get the rest, but nothing has worked. Luckily though, some of my favs did make it to my computer!

Hmmm where to begin... Twila picked us up from the airport. Once we got all our luggage gathered up and in the car we went to meet the Crosby's for lunch at the Green Iguana. The food was awesome, but the service was kind of bad. After we all finished eating, Twila and RC went back to work, while the rest of us headed to the house, where we napped, played, and visited, until it was time to go pick up Twila and Randy from work. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday we went camping. Camping was lots of fun, well except when it was time to sleep, because Shawn snored like a bear the whole time (his allergies flared up big time). While camping, we went on a a few nature walks, discovered poison ivy, found a huge tree house, went swimming in a freezing swimming pool, roasted marshmellows, and just visited. It was awesome and relaxing!

Monday evening, we got to meet Shawn's second cousins. They were in town until Wednesday. Tuesday afternoon we went to eat at the Green Iguana, because they had never been. Once again great food, but bad service. After that it was off to Lettuce Lake. We went on the board walk in hopes of seeing a gator, but unfortunatley we never did :(. But we still had a fabulous time! AC took several pics with my camera but only a few made it from the camera to the computer.

That night Twila and I with help from Randy and Shawn made tacos for everyone. The rest of the evening was spent playing a variety of games. Wednesday, Shawn and I headed for Busch Gardens. We rode every single coaster, got soak on a river rapid rides, saw lots of animals, and went to the show Pirates 4D. It was a blast! Unfortunatly no pictures from that day have made it from the camera to my computer.

The next day, Randy, Twila, Shawn, and I all went to sea world. Too see a few pics of that day go to Twila and Randy's blog. We had a blast! The shows were awesome and we got to see a three day old killer whale. Because of the birth we weren't able to see the Shamu show Believe, but that was okay with me. The shows were awesome and I even fed a couple of seals. The day ended with rain pouring down on us as we were leaving.

Friday we loaded up and started for the beach. When we left the house it was raining, but on the way to beach it started clearing out. We ate lunch at a place called the Frog Pond. If you click on the Frog Pond it will take you to a site that has pictures of the restraunt. After we ate it was off to buy a few items and then on to the beach. Shawn, AC, and I played out in the waves for a while. Then we came up and started making Sand Castles and flying kites.

Saturday we got up and went and saw the Manatee's at the power plant. Then we went shopping at The Pier. Later on that night Shawn and I went to dinner with one his friend's from highschool and his wife. It was great to catch up with them.

Sunday we had a birthday party for everyone. Really it was for the boys but some how it got turned into for everyone. We just played games and watched the race. That night we went out for dinner and then FINALLY Randy got me ice cream that he had promised me earlier in the week :).

That pretty much sums up our week in Fl. Sorry it took so long to update!

Good job recounting - some of the stuff I had already forgotten like the fact that it took your FIL 5 days to get you the ice cream he promised - we may have to fire him!
